Boat Profile: Just Lovely

For this post, I want to formally introduce everyone to Just Lovely, a 1929 Chris-Craft Triple Cockpit. She is just a beautiful example of the early days of mahogany runabouts and just how glistening a full restoration can look.

And, best of all she’s for sale!

26-feet-long and powered by a 1964 Chrysler 440, she has spent the last few years cruising around Grand Lake, Colorado, since undergoing a complete restoration in Wyoming 10 years ago. That restoration included new Honduran mahogany planking, a restored silver dashboard, new leather seats and a completely custom, tandem trailer painted to match the boat’s bottom and riding on whitewall tires.

Just Lovely is currently owned by The Rocky Mountain Wooden Boat School, and is currently listed for sale at $149,000. Please contact me if you’re interested in making this beautiful boat yours!

Currently, she’s sitting in my shop in Aurora, but transportation can be arranged anywhere in the lower 48.
